FREEDOM FEST:

Of course, no end of summer celebration would be complete without a whole lot of rides, bands, and fun at Cliff's Amusement Park. Freedom Fest 2008 explodes onto the scene August 30, 31, and September 1 with bands such as Hawk Nelson making an epic return to the stage, KJ-52 with a follow up to his stellar house party at this year's prom, and hot new band Eowyn, just to name a few. Wristbands and tickets are on sale now, and just a tip, the wristbands go fast so get yours online as soon as possible. All other tickets can also be bought online or at Bibles Plus, Parchments, and Chronicles.

M88 SKATE NIGHT with OH SLEEPER:

We're bringing in the best at the August 9th M88 Skate Night. As part of these summer long events we're bringing in guest band Oh Sleeper and the strong and thought out rock that emits from their every note. We'll also welcome pro skaters Bo Celenze and Josh Harmony for a pro demo that is sure to rock the park.

The music and demo will rock the park from 1:00-6:30 PM, and then we will all head over to the HUB for a combined middle school and high school service. Students are welcome to join us for an interview with Oh Sleeper, a message from M88 DJ Stevo, and a time to chill with the band.






THE TRUTH PROJECT:

A couple of other things you can help us out with...keep The Truth Project in prayer as we study what it means to have a comprehensive biblical worldview as a Christian. Several groups led by the DJs are underway, and more than how it's going to affect others, we're most excited for how God is going to use The Truth Project to help us as a staff grow, mature, and become more confident in our faith in Christ.

PRAYER REQUEST:

On a more personal note, please do continue to keep the staff in your prayers (I know you do, and we appreciate it). There's a lot going on and only so many of us to get it all done. The staff is on the frayed edges of weariness, so we could use a little encouragement and refreshment. I can't tell you what a blessing it is to work with a staff that loves what they do so much. Know that this group of guys and gals are dedicated to not just being DJs and doing concerts, but in everything getting the truth of the gospel out to as many kids and listeners as possible. Everyone here has such a heart for God and it's that passion that drives us all even in the face of so much busyness. I also can't tell you what a blessing it is to have people like you supporting us and lifting us up in prayer. We thank you all for your support and love for this ministry and music. We couldn't do any of it without you.
