Have you dropped off much needed clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and after school snacks at one of M88's mobile donation sites? Come by Chick Fil A's west side location on Thursday, August 5, between 4-6 PM and help us meet the needs of homeless students in our city. You'll get to hang out with the M88 DJs and help homeless kids in our area. We especially need non-perishable snacks, socks, underwear, and hygiene items, including feminine products. | Turn Us Loose is a day set aside for service to our community. Pick up a community service assignment in the Amphitheater after any of the weekend services at Calvary of Albuquerque August 7-8. Grab your hat, gloves, rakes, shovels, bring your love, and head out to serve on August 8. We have a variety of opportunities including evangelism, park outreach, feeding the homeless, nursing home visitation, yard work, and more. | It's time to celebrate life! Care Net Pregnancy Centers of Albuquerque invites you to participate in the Uncover His Love Walk for Life on Saturday, August 28, at Hoffmantown Church. Join Care Net as they show support for biblical life issues and present a unified voice defending the rights of the unborn. Sponsored walkers will be helping to raise funds for the Care Net Pregnancy Center, enabling their ministry to continue God's work there. Registration Begins at 5:00 PM; the Walk for Life begins at 6:00 PM. This year's family friendly event will include face painting, balloons, and snow cones, so bring the whole family! | Unite for the Forgotten Kids of New Mexico, a benefit concert featuring Fernando Ortega, will be held Friday, September 10, at 6:30 PM at Popejoy Hall at the University of New Mexico. Fernando Ortega is noted for his contemporary interpretations of traditional hymns and praise songs. The moving lyrics and smooth melodies of his original music facilitate heartfelt praise of our Heavenly Father. All proceeds go to benefit the ministries of Aspen Project (foster care and adoption), Five Stones International (human trafficking), and LifeQuest (incarcerated youth). Come at 5:30 to visit the Ministry Expo where you'll learn more about how to reach the forgotten children in our community. You'll experience the International Balloon Fiesta in a whole new way and support Christian Radio in New Mexico! Get your legs moving with the 25-mile ride, pedal forward on the Metric Century (65.5 miles), or enjoy the ride with your whole family with our 10K Family Ride. Whichever you choose, we'll kick off at 7:30 AM at the Sport Systems, located at 6915 Montgomery Blvd NE.
